GORE-TEX Windstopper fabric is completely windproof. The membrane is placed in key areas, meaning your major muscle groups on the front of your legs are protected from the ill effects of cold air. The panels without GORE-TEX Windstopper offer increased flexibility and breathability in areas that don't require as much protection.
Windstopper fabric is also resistant to light rain and snow.
A heavier weight fabric has a brushed inner surface which traps warm air.
